Beginner sewing classes for kids and teens, ages 9 thru 18 years old.
Access to kid friendly sewing machines.
My mother is an avid sewer (she enjoys quilting) and pass down her love of fabrics, notions, sewing patterns and creativity to me. Furthermore, Home Economics courses in high school prepared me with a solid foundation for additional sewing knowledge.
Presently, I repurpose thrift shop finds and create costumes for events such as Dragoncon and other special occasions like prom dresses for my daughters.
I believe that teaching children the basic principal of sewing will led to empowerment and creativity.
Sewing is a skill that last a lifetime!
SEWING CLASSES
Basic sewing lessons focuses on specific techniques, such as learning how to use a sewing machine, how to read and understand a pattern to make a complete project and much more.

Minimum of 2 students must be registered in order for class to be held.

Classes meet for one hour per week. 4 week sessions on a rolling bases.

Tuition is $70.00 per month (4 week sessions).

Additional cost depend on the sewing project.

Fee for workbook and pattern packet.
